Disobedience In Us, Goes Further Than Ourselves...
God bless each and everyone. Beloved, disobedience is both a weapon, and a trap. Allow me to explain...
Because of Saul’s (first King of Israel) disobedience, the presence of God left his side Causing him to lose his kingship. We can also see that because of Abraham’s (the Father of Faith) disobedience when the Lord called him to leave his land and parental home, (which meant only he and his wife Sarah were to go) he also took Lot, his nephew who then took his own wife. This decision caused Israel to later on gain 2 big enemies. We can see this happen when the angels of the Lord, escort Lot and his wife who turns into the statue of salt for disobeying the Lord’s warning NOT to look back. Lot and his 2 daughters are forced to run to the hills, where his 2 daughters commit the unthinkable, later on giving birth to the 2 tribes that become Israel’s top enemies the moabites and the amonites. This is how disobedience can be both a weapon and a trap? A weapon for the enemy to use against the plans of the Lord for our lives and a trap that entraps us to believe that the Lord is not working in our lives. I exhort you all to turn from the disobedience, brethren disobedience can bring down damnation is our lives, damnation that get passed down to our own children, although involuntary, but they still end up paying the price for our acts And choices. These 2 stories teach us that God wants the best for us, but sometimes we can mess up those plans, and even extend the time limit that god has placed before us. Samuel told Saul that before sacrifice, god is better complacent with obedience (1Samuel 15:22) so with this, beloved, I exhort each of you to obey the word of God, and to not be forgetful listeners of it, but to apply the word to every aspect of our lives. God bless!
